The company's 13 brands are organized into three categories: Outdoor, Active, and Work. The company controls 55% of the U.S. backpack market with the JanSport, Eastpak, Timberland, and North Face brands. In 2017, VF acquired Williamson-Dickie’s brands, including Dickies, Workrite, Kodiak, Terra, and Walls. The following year, VF would acquire Icebreaker, complementing its Smartwool brand, as both feature Merino wool in their clothing and accessories. In 2020, VF acquired streetwear brand Supreme for USD 2.1B. On 8 September 2021, it was announced, the former president of emerging brands of VF Corporation, Travis Campbell, will acquire the Eagle Creek brand. In 2021, an increase in earnings per share was 148% USD 0.27, including a USD 0.07 per share contribution from acquisitions. The revenue from continuing operations also increased 104%, to USD 2.2B. The market capitalization of the company is USD 27.15B.
